The members of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believe that Ahnsahnghong is Christ, Second Coming Jesus. Yet many may ask, “Can a man be Christ?” Others probably think this is just Church of God’s opinion. Of course, without evidence, no one should believe this. Then, let’s see if there is evidence that Ahnsahnghong is Christ. Fortunately history repeats itself and we can find out by looking into the life of Jesus Christ.
Proof that Jesus, A Man was the Christ
2,000 years ago, the disciples had the huge task of convincing the world that a 30-year old carpenter turned beggar, was the Messiah. All the Jewish religious leaders opposed them and when given a choice, between crucifying Jesus or letting a well-known prisoner go free, they chose to release the criminal over Jesus (Matthew 27:16, 20). Jesus couldn’t have had a worse public image. Despite these odds, they were successful. How? The Apostles had that strong evidence that Jesus was indeed the Messiah.
Acts 17:2-3 (NIV) – As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead. “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah.” he said.
Acts 17:3 (KJV) – … and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
Messiah means Christ. Apostle Paul’s writings show that their evidence was in the Scriptures. The entire Old Testament proved Jesus was the Christ. Think about it. How could Apostle Paul say he proved Jesus was the Christ without evidence?
Today, if we see someone receive capital punishment, the death penalty, will anyone believe that this person is Christ? Probably not. Apostle Paul’s evidence must have been very convincing.
You’re probably asking yourself, how did Apostle Paul know to look for proof about Jesus in the Bible? This teaching came from Jesus himself.
John 5:39 – You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,
Jesus explained that the Bible, testifies about Him. The definition of “testimony” is proof or evidence that something exists or is true. This means that the details of the life of Jesus Christ were already written about in the Bible, hundreds of years or even thousands of years before he was even born. That is why the Apostles could say and prove that a man is Christ.
1 Timothy 2:5 – For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
Although it was obvious Jesus was a man, Apostle Paul wrote still “the man Christ Jesus.” Why? He emphasized that though Jesus was a man, He was the Christ. It’s easy for people to believe in God in heaven as a powerful invisible being. But it’s much more difficult for people to believe in God on earth, who is like us in every way.
Proof vs Opinion
Many people strongly believe in Jesus, but have never seen any proof for themselves that Jesus is the Christ. I was one of those people before. I went to church and never actually learned why Jesus is the Christ. The very few verses I saw shown to me saying Jesus was Christ were in the New Testament. However the proof is not in there.
Luke 24:25-27 – He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer all these things and then enter his glory?” And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he Explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.
The proof is in Moses and the Prophets, the Old Testament. The New Testament confirms the Old Testament writings. Then my faith was based on people’s opinions because I did not read the writings Moses and the Prophets, who explained about Jesus.
Proof that Ahnsahnghong is Christ
For those who question that Ahnsahnghong is Christ and ask for proof, I have one question. Did you ever ask for proof that Jesus was Christ? Did you ever ask for evidence? If you never asked for proof that Jesus is Christ, but believe that, why do you ask for proof about Ahnsahnghong? Of course you should see it in the Bible, but for both Jesus and Ahnsahnghong. The Bible is able to prove who Christ is, not only in His first coming, but in His second coming also.
Hebrews 9:28 – so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
The Bible says that Christ should appear a second time. The first time Christ appeared on earth, He came as a man named Jesus. Since Christ came as a man the first time, how do you think he will come a second time? Also as a man. And only the Bible can help us discern who Christ is among the 7 billion people in the world.
Use the Bible, and not people’s opinions to see that Ahnsahnghong is Christ, Second Coming Christ. There are actually many prophecies about second Coming Christ that describe the life of Ahnsahnghong.
