The members of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) claim that Ahnsahnghong is in the Bible. But where exactly is the name “Ahnsahnghong” in the Bible? If his name is not in the Bible, does it mean he is not in the Bible? I ask these questions because some people have the idea that the name of Christ should already be in the Bible before He comes. You will see that this is not true. To see Ahnsahnghong in the Bible, we must first understand the Bible.
What Is the Bible?
Dumb question right? Not exactly. To us, the Bible is 66 books, the Old and New Testament. To Apostle Peter, the Bible was the 39 books of the Old Testament. So, if someone asked Peter to look for the name of Jesus, where should He look? Peter should look only in the Old Testament.
Why is it significant to note that Peter only had the Old Testament. Some people say they believe in Jesus because His name is in the Bible and they say that they will not believe in Ahnsahnghong because his name is not in the Bible. 2000 years ago, the name “Jesus” was not written in the Bible (Old Testament). In the exact same way, the name “Ahnsahnghong” is not written in the Bible (Old and New Testament) today.
Jesus in the Bible
Though the name “Jesus” was not written in the Bible 2,000 years ago, it did not mean that He was not in the Bible.
John 5:46 (NIV) – If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
Jesus said Moses wrote about him. This means that Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy and/or Numbers should contain words about Jesus. But the name “Jesus” doesn’t appear once. In fact, Jesus explained more books of the Bible wrote about Jesus than those.
Luke 24:44 (NIV) – He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”
However, the name “Jesus” does not appear in the writings of the Prophets or the Psalms. There is not a single verse in the Old Testament of the Bible with the name “Jesus.” I invite you to go search any Bible and see if you can find the name Jesus in the Old Testament. You will not find it. Then can you believe in Jesus based on his name? No. The name doesn’t matter at all, but something else does. How did Luke know Jesus was the Christ?
Luke 24:44 (NCV) – He said to them, “Remember when I was with you before? I said that everything written about me must happen—everything in the law of Moses, the books of the prophets, and the Psalms.”
When the Bible says Jesus fulfilled something, it means that everything written about the life of Jesus must happen. Then, when Luke saw many things in the Bible describing Jesus, he believed. It was the same with Philip and Nathanael.
John 1:44 (NCV) – Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the man that Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also wrote about him. He is Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.
They didn’t say, “We found the man Jesus the Bible wrote about.” The Old Testament showed what happened to Jesus in his life and the Old and New Testament shows what will happen to Second Coming Jesus in his life. Many Old Testament prophecies are about the last days. In Summary…

Ahnsahnghong in the Bible
The name “Jesus” wasn’t in the Bible 2,000 years ago, though the Bible told about His life. His name could be anything, as long as everything written about him in the Bible happens. The same is true with Ahnsahnghong. You can find writings about the life of Ahnsahnghong in the Bible.
I’m not sure exactly where the idea came from that we must see the name of Christ in the Bible to believe in Him. What we should focus on is what the Bible says about the life of Second Coming Christ. If we know this, then we can make the correct judgment.
Let us accept the second coming of Jesus who come before the last judgment and saves us through a complete reformation.
Besides all this, if your insistence is that you can’t believe it if its not in the bible, then from now on, lets not believe in Christmas, Sunday Worship, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day and St. Valentines Day.

This post shows that we can’t just rely on a name, we have to rely on the prophecies recorded in the Bible over thousands of years ago and the fulfillment of those prophecies. It’s a miracle to see them actually fulfilled. If Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfills them, then He fulfills them and must be God!
