Ahnsahnghong Is?

Christ Comes From the East, Ahnsahnghong too?

I find it very interesting that in churches I previously attended, we never focused on the prophecies about Second Coming Christ. Everyone says that Second Coming Christ is coming, but we were not preparing to receive Him. I was wasting my time there! (Please don’t do that.) God lets us know where in the world to look for His coming. When you see this video and the verses in them:

The Word of God should be exciting, and relevant to our lives! Please watch the video below entitled, “Christ Who Has Come From the East.”

God lets us know Christ comes from the east in the Bible, Second Coming Christ The video referenced a verse from Isaiah 41 where Isaiah wrote about God coming from the east. When you read verse 4 it is very clear who the man is…

Isaiah 41:2 – Who has stirred up one from the east calling him in righteousness to his service?

Isaiah 41:4 – …I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.

That man is God Himself, the Creator of the heavens and earth! Although Isaiah was a writer of the Old Testament, he was speaking about Second Coming Christ. The prophecies about the location of Second Coming Christ are different for Jesus’ first coming. Jesus Christ was to be born in Bethlehem according to prophecy.

Micah 5:2 – But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

Let’s consider if Isaiah were talking about Jesus in verse 41. Where then would east refer to? Keep in mind the perspective of the author, Just like the video explained the preference of John. Isaiah lived in Jerusalem. When we look at Google Maps, we can see where Bethlehem is in relation to Jerusalem.

Bethlehem is south, NOT east! Therefore, Isaiah was not speaking about Jesus Christ. If he was, he would have written about a coming from the South. The east actually refers to Oriental countries. Look at the same verse in the Spanish version of the Bible.

Isaiah 41:2 – ¿Quién ha hecho venir desde el oriente a aquel que siempre sale *victorioso?

Coming from the “oriente,” an Oriental country. That’s what the East means. We can narrow down our search, however there are still so many people in the East.
