I heard people say that they would not believe Ahnsahnghong is the Christ because they believe that every eye will see him. In Revelation 1:7, the prophecy of Second Coming Christ clearly says, “every eye will see him.” No debate there. But, how do most Christians interpret this verse? Christians believe it will be a supernatural event. Have you seen those pictures like that of Jesus floating on clouds out of the sky with thousands upon thousands of angels?
This leads them to the conclusion that Second Coming Christ cannot come in the flesh. Since Ahnsahnghong came in the flesh, they ask, “How can Ahnsahnghong be the Christ?” Good question.
Every Eye Will See Jesus
Well, did you know that the Bible said every eye will see Jesus? Yes. In one of the prophecies Isaiah wrote about Jesus, it says the exact same thing, that “every eye will see him.”
Isaiah 40:3, 5 – A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God… And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Isaiah wrote that God, meaning Jehovah God, would come in the flesh as Christ, and “all people would see it together.” Who fulfilled this prophecy? Jesus Christ.
Matthew 3:1-3 – In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”
John the Baptist was the one who would prepare the way for the Lord. His name shows his purpose. He was the one who was to baptize Jesus Christ to mark the beginning of the ministry of Jesus preaching the gospel.
Though Isaiah said “all people would see it,” did this mean that all people would physically see Jehovah (Jesus Christ) at the same time? No. At that time, only people around Israel saw Jesus Christ physically, not the whole world. Then is Jesus not the Christ? Jesus is the Christ. The whole New Testament explains that fact. So the assumption that Christ must come in supernatural form in order for every eye to see him is a false assumption.
Conclusion
When the Bible says, “every eye will see him,” it doesn’t mean physically. So every eye doesn’t have to physically see Ahnsahnghong for him to be the Christ.
Additionally, coming on the clouds does not mean coming on actual clouds, it means coming in the flesh. Daniel wrote a prophecy about Jesus coming on the clouds (Daniel 7:13-14). If they study the prophecies about Christ, they can understand easily.
